The bible has everything in it! :-) I find when the Holy Spirit gives me a nudge to adjust my attitude or the girls, its best to stop and pray and read scripture maybe even start our day again with a shower and dress.
It seems to give us a fresh start. My husband says I lead the household with my attitude. If mama ain't happy.....On the days when things are out of control I simply put everything aside and love on my kids. Make a memory by watching a history video, reading a book snuggled together, role play a classic story, sing hymns, make each other laugh or cook together. Enjoy your children and build relationships that will last. Your children can always learn academics but this moment in time is precious. Consider yourself...Great to hear from you, Kelly!

Consider yourself hugged right back! Five girls? Oh, how wonderful!!! :)

Isn't God good to provide just what we need just when we need it? You will see His hand all through your homeschooling experience as you seek Him. How comforting to know that you are never alone and that it is not all on you. A dear friend once pointed out Daniel 1:17 which tells us about Daniel and his friends that: "GOD gave them knowledge and intelligence in every branch of literature and wisdom..." We seek first the Widom Giver, amen?

Thank you! It is my blessing to be an older women to sweet younger moms, like you!

Love to you!
RebeccaRebecca Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05396031817687876256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708411184309597995.post-55897865982729996582013-04-30T19:46:14.915-07:002013-04-30T19:46:14.915-07:00Hello Sweet Rebecca,
I LOVE the picture you poste...Hello Sweet Rebecca,

I LOVE the picture you posted of your little **Birthday Girl**! Look how much she has grown! :)

I'm in tears after reading your response to my original question! I have so much going on inside my head and my heart after reading this. I know I need to take some time to let it all sink in, however I just had to write tonight and say thank you. I wish I could give you a giant hug right now. I felt so much love and support in your words.

The Lord is really speaking to me through your words and I know that He has so much to say to me through all of our current struggles. I plan to read your post again (and again)! I also plan on writing more very soon.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to help our family. I know I have told you this in the past, but we are "pioneer homeschoolers" in our family and have many naysayers so to speak. So it truly helps to hear from like minded, homeschooling mommies - such as yourself! :) It helps to know we are not walking this path alone!!!

Also, thanks for the congrats on our precious baby girl! We couldn't be more excited to welcome our 5th daughter into our family! The funny thing is for 8 solid weeks we were under the impression that we were actually having our first baby BOY! Yes, one of the dr.'s doing the ultrasound was actually WRONG and it took 8 more weeks for us to find out the truth!! Needless to say, we had LOTS of returns to do and a bit of a shock factor to work through...but we are right back on track and super excited to meet our newest little princess in July!

Lots of hugs and blessings to you and your precious family! Thanks again for your encouragement and helpful advice!

In His Love,
KellyKellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02789621185734233002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708411184309597995.post-15086088788765232112013-04-30T09:33:08.644-07:002013-04-30T09:33:08.644-07:00Thank you, Channon.
