Countdown and Prayer Request
We're counting down! Just 2 more days until we expect to meet our newest Jones baby! I just LOVE this ultrasound picture. It has been with me in my kitchen since December reminding me to eat salad!
As we head into the final stretch we would greatly appreciate your prayers!
Our surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 am.
A couple possible complications that you can be specifically praying about are the possibility of: Adhesions and the fact that I am anemic at this point. Those are the things that my doctor has mentioned.
Of course, there are no complications for God. If He can part the Red Sea, He can certainly handle these things, amen?
OK~ you must already be praying for me, the Lord has most certainly renewed my peace today. : )
He is not only all powerful, He is amazingly good and sovereign. All thoughts that encourage my heart.
Our pastor preached a wonderful sermon yesterday about how God is not only with us IN life's uncertainties, He is has goes before us~ using the example of Jacob's dream. It reminded me of the verse:
"I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do
all that I please."
~Isaiah 46:10
I remember the first time I read that. What comfort.
Thank you to those of you that have already been praying. We appreciate you.
Love,
From Rebecca for the team

ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca! I didn't know that you had a blog. I know that I will glean so much from reading you rGod inspired words.
ReplyDeleteYou are in my thoughts and prayers right now. May the Lord continue to grant you the peace which surpasses ALL understanding.

~Stacy
Thank you so much ladies! I can't tell you what an encouragement it is to know that you are praying for me. : )
ReplyDeletePraying and I'll be asking the Copperswife readers to pray, too!! You've been on my heart since Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI found you through Preschoolers & Peace. I will be praying for you! I had my 3rd c-section just twelve days ago! I too was severely anemic, but Praise the Lord he brought me through without the blood transfusion we thought was inevitable. He is the Master Healer. God bless you! -Tai
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteWe'll be praying for you. We can't wait to meet the newest Jones member. Hopefully we'll be able to visit y'all soon.
We've all been praying for you here! And praying the hospital you 'get' to go to is a sweet stay. :)
ReplyDeleteRebecca,
ReplyDeleteJust stopped by here for the first time after following Kendra's link. I'll be having my third c-section in a couple months, so I'm understanding of where you're at right now. I have prayed for you and will continue to lift you up as the Lord brings you to my mind. Have fun tomorrow!

Hi Rebecca, Remember the v-bac /section conversations we had this year? Because you "have" to have a section, you had the bloodwork which has made you and your hero (+the Dr. too) more aware of what can or and may happen tomorrow. You have had a little time to prepare and chew on it. Our 3rd section was a blessing even though I really did not want it. The Dr. was able to stop some very serious bleeding that he did not cause.
ReplyDeleteI pray for your peace tonight and tomorrow. Remember my cowboy has your blood type :-) if you need some more he said he would be glad to give it for you.
If you get restless, call me.
Love ya
~Sandi
I've been wondering when the newest Jones addition was going to arrive.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know how to pray.
I will be praying for you. May He grant you a peaceful rest tonight before your big day tomorrow!

I know that your baby has arrived, but am just now stumbling on to your blog. You were in our prayers all through the day yesterday and continue to be today. We look forward to meeting your newest little one!

Thanks everyone. Your comments are such a blessing to me. So great to know we were being prayed for. God has been good.
ReplyDeleteAnd Dana, the place I "got to" stay was great! They even brought in a celebration family meal for us complete with Sparkling Apple Cider the day we were discharged. You're so in charge of praying for hospital stays from now on. : )
