6 weeks old...

Thank you to those who have been praying for us. God is so good.

For those of you that do not know, I have gone in a couple of times in the past few weeks for heart concerns. The doctor I met with yesterday ran an EKG and felt the pressure and pain I was experiencing was due to diaphragm pressure and all related to my recent surgery. In short, I am still in recovery and all seems to be well.

The doctor did prescribe another round of antibiotics for my incision area. They are treating a staph infection (they assure me it is the good kind of staph infection, so I am thankful for that).

May God continue to bless you as you lead little hearts home!

  1. What a beautiful picture. I love the interaction between you and your sweet little one.
I will be praying for your health. I hope that the infection clears up quickly.
Also wanted you to know that you're one of the winners for my book giveaway. Congratulations! You can get the details on my blog.
Hope you have a good evening!

  2. Wow, you're definitely in my prayers! And I LOVE that picture.... absolutely precious! (And priceless!)

  3. I did not know this! I will be praying for your continued healing and for relief from the pain you are experiencing.

  4. Thanks so much Shelly. My budding photographer will be blessed. : )

Wow, thanks Serena. You have great taste in books. I can't wait! And thank you for your prayers. : )

Hi Christie! Thank you. I appreciate the prayers and your sweet comments. : )

Hi Cheryl. Thank you so much. I feel like I am doing better tonight and I have had a full day of antibiotics. Praying that God will provide the healing. : )

BTW, if you missed Sven's message to the message board you might need to update your settings. I was missing things too lately, but Kristi G. recommended I check my settings and she was right- a few things needed to be selected again. : )

  5. I continue to pray for you, and may I continue to suggest(!) that you enjoy some kefir? Especailly after a round of antibiotics... please. Love you and so glad it wasn't a heart-realated thing.

  6. I love the picture. So beautiful.

I had no idea that you were dealing with health issues. Thank you for letting us know. I will be praying for you. I'm glad to read that you are healing.

  7. Yes Erin- Kefir smoothies sound great! You'll remind me, right? : )

Me too! Even the irregular beat has stopped for now.

    Love you too!

  8. Thanks so much MB. I'm doing well now. You know, you are in Texas. I can understand your being a smidge outa the loop. Hope you're having a great time! Give love to those Texas Hall folk!
