Valentine cookies were made and tucked away in the freezer {a special surprise by Sarah and Mama}. The hens have slowed their egg laying for the winter but look so lovely in their all white feathers with the new grasses behind them.
Little Hailey. 9 months old already. Her bright eyes and chubby little cheeks keep us head over heels in love. Her quick little crawl keeps us alert and on our toes!
Spring cookie cutters made an early debut for the creation of "Farm toasters." A creative breakfast request invented by the girls and reminiscent of the beloved Moody books. The girls get a few more go kart opportunities as we enjoy the sunshine.
How very quickly this month sped away! Maybe when the rain returns it will feel like things are slowing down again. I am ready for slow.
Blessings!

Thanks for the glimpses into your January:-) I can't believe how swiftly it sped by! We had a 9th birthday and in two days we will celebrate a 2nd birthday...how quickly they grow!
ReplyDeleteAnd rain? What rain?! I'd love some...right now we are surrounded by a fog bank:-) So otherworldly!
Have a wonderful weekend and Lord's Day!
Lots of love,
Sommer
Lovely pictures, as usual, my friend. My hens are confused by this spring-like weather and have begun laying more. I'll not tell them it's still winter.
ReplyDeleteAw, Hailey is getting so big! She's such a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteI love your idea for eggs and toast. My mom always just used a round cutter- the thought never occurred to me to use a fun shape. How creative! My kids will love it.
Precious January memories... what a great breakfast idea too!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies.
ReplyDeleteThe breakfast version works far better than our sandwich version because nothing goes to waste. : )
Blessings to you!
