SPRING AND EASTER {just photos}

Sarah Mae helping prepare for Easter dinner with her decorated cookie.

The cookie decorating crew!

Uh oh- why does this one look dead?!  Maybe butterflies for eyes look too much
like X's.  :)

In the back yard to minimize the mess!

Ta-da!  Lots of cookies and treats all ready for Easter Sunday!

My baby sister came into town with my cute nephew, Oliver Thomas.  We all sure enjoyed
having a baby to... baby!

That's right.  He had lots of work to do.

Simple roses from the garden in mason jars dressed the tables.

My cute baby sissy, Dale with her darling new glasses.  Love them!

Faith (um... she just turned 17.  No way!) and little Hailey at the front door.

Let's find a seat and eat!

Josh and Sarah forming straw designs.

Homemade lamb cake by Faith and the finished cookies were a few of the dessert options.

Little kids table!  They make it look fun.

My niece, Katelyn.  Yep, she's as sweet as she looks.

My cute sister Liz, and her hubby, Sven with baby Judah on the monitor app.

Mmmm... lots of food!  So thankful for everyone's help!

My sweet mom and step dad, Ray.

And-- cutest for last.  My adorable hubby dishing up the goods!

Hope you had a blessed Resurrection Day!

even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."

  1. Wow! what a beautiful cake. i've never seen one like it before. can I ask, did you use a mould, what type of cake is it? thanks!

  2. Thank you! The mold was one we found at a thrift store for 99 cents! Faith made a homemade recipe for the cake and frosting (chocolate cake and vanilla frosting). I have been thinking about having her post some of her homemade creations. She does a great job taking family favorites and substituting ingredients for a low or no sugar solution-- although this one was all sugar! ;)
