Vintage milk bottles

This may be a little off topic, but have you ever noticed that the Starbucks coffee bottles look just like vintage milk bottles? They do. Just peel off the labels, use a little goof off to remove the sticky residue and the bottling date then wash well.

Of course you have to be willing to make the sacrifice to drink a Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino first, but if you are up to it, what fun little vintage milk bottles you will have! A whole matching set in no time!

“Oh Mama, we should bake cookies to go with your cute bottles.” “Sounds great!” “Hooray!” So here are my “vintage milk bottles” complimenting Faith's delightful homemade peanut butter cookies. Delicious!

P.S. Does this count as a craft?

  1. I don't know about craft ... but it does count as super cute. My guess is those probabaly have pretty thick glass - makes for a sturdier longer lasting beverage container. Very smart. Very pretty.

  5. I think it also counts as science (the baking the cookies part).

  6. Good point Mary Beth. We just love calling baking soda "sodium carbonate" for that very reason. ; )
